CORRUPTIONLAND releases Tuesday, October 27, with new revelations about the president, his enablers in Congress, and their abuses of power
WASHINGTON — October 22, 2026 — DEFIANCE.org announced it will release CORRUPTIONLAND — an explosive documentary about the corruption of the federal government under President Donald Trump — one week before Election Day. The film will be free to the public beginning Tuesday, October 27 at 12:00 noon ET at CORRUPTIONLAND.org and on various streaming platforms. The announcement was first made last night on MS NOW’s The Briefing with Jen Psaki.
In the 35-minute film, Miles Taylor, the former Department of Homeland Security chief of staff turned Trump whistleblower, digs into the heart of the president’s “corruption industrial complex” and walks the streets of the nation’s capital with experts and investigators who are probing the sprawling allegations, including the no-bid contracts, the foreign money, the pardons, the purged watchdogs, and the price ordinary Americans are paying.
The propulsive documentary features new disclosures from former federal officials and whistleblowers who were fired, targeted, or forced out for doing their jobs, and it arrives alongside an interactive map documenting and sourcing the top 100 episodes of corruption during the second Trump administration, including a first-ever “tally” of the monetary value of alleged corruption.
The production faced headwinds. While shooting in September, the CORRUPTIONLAND crew was ordered out of the Washington Monument after government staff realized what was being filmed — a scene viewers will see in the finished documentary.
“The Trump administration cannot shut us down,” said Taylor, founder and executive director of DEFIANCE.org. “We were kicked out of the Washington Monument while we were making a movie about corruption that the president doesn’t want people to see. But he can’t blindfold the American people. This film is coming out October 27 no matter what, and Americans will get to see exactly what their government has been turned into — and what they can do about it on November 3.”
The film lands at a moment of record public alarm. For the first time in recorded history, Americans say “corruption” is their number-one worry ahead of an election. The producers found that never before has that category surpassed the economy as a voting issue in an election year since polling began. Meanwhile, a Gallup poll found 89 percent of Americans believe government corruption is widespread, the highest figure ever recorded and a view shared across party lines (83 percent of Republicans, 91 percent of Democrats). The United States tops all OECD nations on that measure.
CORRUPTIONLAND was produced independently by DEFIANCE.org with Storycast Productions. Press screeners are available under embargo.
